Everything is to perfection from delicious food, friendly staff, a chic interior and great management from the warm and welcoming host Marina. I love that you can sit outside and the restaurant has a light and homely feel to it!We tried the new slaps burgers which were delicious! Loved the skinny side friends and delicious vegan mayo. Our friend had the omelette and value for money it was beyond worth it! The food portions are generous and very well priced. The menu offers such a variety that we can’t wait to go back next! If anyone can eat the portion served, you must be a very healthy eater. I brought half of it home and my partner thought it was a full helping. Lucky our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the duck pie. Waited ages for the food to arrive. We’re told it is on its way and 15 mins later it was served. The pie was so disappointing to say the least. The pie was about 2cm high with very little duck and the small pieces of duck were dry as biltong. The pastry underneath was soggy. We were served ratatouille as the veg. Normally the veggies are a mixed delight but not today. Owner was not there today.Told the waitress who said she would tell the chef! No apologies. The presentation of the food was very average not to mention the cost, which was over the top for a sandwich, salad and pie. All sides were at an additional cost to the already ridiculous prices. From our welcome to our departure it was spectacular. A true gastronomic experience. Our starters were sublime.My better half had the French onion soup which was delicate and delicious and I had the Mussels which were out standing, better than mussels I have eaten at a world famous restaurant in Brussels in Belgium….oh my word!
