For the main course we chose the Game dish. It was under-seasoned and with a lack of variation of flavour. All the accompanying additions to the meat were sweet – a fruity dollop and sweet potatoes. Oddly, the jus or gravy was poured over the sweet potatoes rather than the meat. The starters were adequate and the dessert rather too sweet for our taste (especially after having sweet with our mains). Service was friendly if a little unprofessional for a restaurant charging these prices. Having eaten at several other very good Rosebank restaurants, we were definitely expecting a lot more from Marble based on other reviews. Underwhelming and disappointing.
