More things to do for younger children. We went on two water rides, pirate ship and bumper cars- all really good. It was not busy at all so virtually no wait time! Staff were polite and helpful. The aqua park was not open (looked like it was undergoing some work) and there is a separate entrance fee for that. If you are thirsty on arrival you will have to wait for the stalls to open….by the time that happens you might be dying from thirst. You are not allowed to take your own food and drink in either, which is kind of understandable as that’s where they make money. However the food was shocking, only good thing was the pizza. We had 3x burger and chips and a special panini all of which where undercooked…… especially the burgers which where pink and cold. We ended up ordering a pizza in the end as we were really hungry. The fair area was okay also, a few rides for little ones and the same for older children, a little animal area which was sad to see as their enclosures were way to small. The price was good though as it worked out £12 per person for both the water park and fun fair. So it had some positives and some negatives, but I would most probably visit again as it breaks up your holiday a bit and it wasn’t expensive to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were amazed by the sheer depth of heritage spread across the site.Walking through the ruins, it’s easy to imagine the grandeur of what was once one of the most powerful cities of the ancient world. From the Antonine Baths overlooking the sea to the Tophet, amphitheater, and remains of Roman villas, every corner of Carthage tells a unique story spanning Phoenician, Roman, and early Christian eras. The site is well-signposted, and the atmosphere is both peaceful and awe-inspiring. The views of the Mediterranean add to the magic, making it a beautiful and enriching place to explore. We recommend allowing a few hours to truly appreciate all that Carthage has to offer. Whether you’re a history buff or simply curious, this is a must-visit while in Tunisia.A truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Avoid going to aquakand because this parking is hardly worth at all. There are only 3 tobaugand in this oark and are absolutely not worth the price. Very disappointed with aqualand. But cartage land is rather nice mix if you have to wait 5pm for opening Read more Review of: Carthage Land Visited July 2025 Written July 22, 2025 Jason LUFC Szymanski Leeds, United Kingdom 58 contributions 5 of 5 bubbles I have visited Carthage Land several times while staying in Hammamet… It is an awesome place surrounded by lots of things to do! From the roller coaster to Virtual Cinema and lots of nice restaurants around. There is something for everyone in this area and all very reasonably priced. We come to Tunisia every year and we always make sure we visit Carthage Land. The park is done quickly in 1 hour hardly there is hardly any attraction for teenagers it’s a small park you’ve quickly gone around for me it’s a catch tourists avoid I think there’s better to do it’s really not terrible don’t lose your money in this park. We get passed in the queues, insulting, it’s very noisy, no security from the staff, exaggerated waiting time due to bad organization (the lhymalaya attraction that we find at carnivals in France, an hour of waiting, an endless settling-in time… in France it turns every five minutes…) it seems that the young people in this park are savages (no rules, screams, insults towards the French, waste on the ground…) we were shocked it’s really to flee, you are insecure Read more Automatically translated Written April 21, 2026 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Shaun V 5 contributions 0 1 of 5 bubbles Racism and discrimination unfortunately Sep 2025 • Friends Day started great with a ride on barbosas medina discovery and 5D cinema but was then told carthage land doesn’t open until 4pm which was fine and gave us chance to explore the medina for a few hours, upon arriving back at the ticket desk we ride barbosas again and grabbed an ice cream as staff member E42, who I spoke to earlier, again reiterated that carthage land ticket’s couldn’t be bought until 4pm. A steady queue formed and were served from half 3 onwards with locals being able to purchase and queue in waiting for carthage land with E42 keeping check of myself as I was now waiting just beyond the queue line as I had seen locals purchase tickets and begin to queue while I was still unable to do so. As 4pm struck i entered the queue and waited to purchase 4 entry tickets and 4 tickets for King Kong and Tanit upon initial confirmation of this there was no issue with E42 confirming withthe ti ket operator but another member of staff she then spoke to relayed other information asking who would be riding which I exclaimed myself and my brother in law who has down syndrome but has been on the majority of uk parks, with several rides on icon and the big one merely a week ago, she questioned if “he could speak” and “was able to understand” which given the same E42 happily relayed the earlier information and the fact he’d already ridden two of their rides I’d hazard to guess he could but they were looking for other motives to which i quashed them by jokingly saying he’s probably ridden more roller coasters than you, this is when E42 turned to the fellow memeber of staff commented in tunisian arabic to her and sniggered several times. It was then my turn as after their sniggering they thought it then an ideal time to try and say that I wouldn’t fit in the restraints, which from seeing the coaster and doing prior research I was confident I would and have been on more snug coasters before, it was simply a chance to try and shame a disabled man and his family for whatever reason but it was after that we decided to cut the trip short despite being effectively led to believe we would simply have to wait until 4pm and then be able to get our tickets. Its left a really sour taste that E42 and her colleague felt the need to effectively racially abuse a family and show such discrimination towards a disabled man which is a shame because every other interaction has been absolutely amazing but these select few have effectively ruined what should have been a lovely day around the medina and on some new rides. In this day and age its a shame that this kind of behaviour (in a tourist led industry) is evidently an everyday occurance and unfortunately has happened to us but if anyone else happens to come across this review, In a similar situation, hope it gives you food for thought before visiting.
