Activities we have booked at the resort with Amhed Habeb and for a nice price. Cons; hard beds, nescafe coffee 😞, rooms not available and therefore the next day have to change, lots of flying at the beach and pool, lots of nocturnal noise outside the hotel… honking cars and screaming children until about 3am !!! I cannot praise them enough, all super attentive and happy to help. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and clean overlooking the wave pool. We’ve been a few times before and this was the best room so far. Replenished daily by the amazing housekeeping staff. We used the area around the flumes behind the kids club daily and well looked after by the lifeguard Abd Ahmed. Food was great and found plenty of choice over the two weeks. We also ate in the 3 excellent all inclusive restaurants available which was nice to be waited on rather than self service.There are loads of beds to sunbathe, no need to be up before the sun to lay out towels.We’ve found that the drinks have improved from previous visits, especially the cocktails. Two minor moans, there were a lot of birds accessing both restaurants which we haven’t encountered before. At breakfast in the main restaurant the birds were picking away at pastries which folk were going to eat. I appreciate it’s hard to keep them out, but this is not good. It would also be great if there were toilets at the opposite end of the existing facilities, close to the volleyball park as its quite a distance to either the toilets in the main building, or the ones next to the Asian restaurant. If out walking, the shop owners will encourage you to enter their shops, however a polite no thank you is all that’s required, just keep walking. First disappointment cause the hotel is not on the beach and is a 300 meter walk to the shoreline, when you get there the nice usually quiet beach has constant bang bang bang hammering from a boat being repaired in the floating dock. It’s driving is mad. It starts early morning till dusk. Bang bang bang Will definitely not recommend this hotel if you want to quiet beach holiday.
