The grounds are absolutely stunning— beautifully maintained, lush, and peaceful, with so much thought put into creating a natural, spacious environment for the animals. It feels more like a serene nature reserve than a typical sanctuary. What stood out even more was how well cared for the animals are. You can see the dedication of the staff in every detail, from the healthy, relaxed animals to the clean, enriched enclosures. It’s clear they prioritize both welfare and respect for wildlife. It’s a place that leaves you feeling hopeful and inspired. Highly recommend to anyone who loves animals and wants to support ethical conservation. 🌿🐘 Read more Written April 30, 2026 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The high tea, Prosecco and canapés were a bonus but honestly hearing about the amazing work these people are doing and being educated about poaching etc was the best part of the trip. You can tell these animals are truly being cared for and rehabilitated. Our tour guide Laurie was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. They do an incredible job rehabilitating animals and the experience and interaction you get to have with the animals is amazing. You also get an afternoon high tea with sandwiches and cakes half way through and then at the end Prosecco with nibbles, all of which is sumptuous, and in the most gorgeous setting watching the animals graze a few feet away.
