The gentleman helping us (Abdullah) provided an overview of the products to identify my interest. He was personable and knowledgeable.We purchased Argan oil for the hair and body, prickly pear face cream and serums, spices, perfume and tea. My only complaint is I didn’t buy enough! I’m in love with the Argan oil with orange blossom and my son loves the Argan oil with jasmine for his hair. I’ll report back on the efficacy of the prickly pear products as I’ve read such positive reviews. The owner, Ibrahim was a wonderful host. He was kind and welcomed us warmly in his store. A member in the store even challenged my son to a push up contest, which was hilarious! Ibrahim’s follow-up was also impressive. He communicated consistently to ensure my package was on track and I received my order earlier than expected back in California. I strongly recommend visiting Ibrahim and his team at Herbalism if you visit Marrakech. You’ll be very happy you did! I cannot wait to visit again! He was clearly passionate about the benefits of argan oil and essential oils. I’d already bought some argan oil elsewhere but was happy to buy some neroli essential oil from Achraf, who could probably sell ice cubes to eskimos! That’s not to say he was pushy! He was in fact a very relaxed fluent English speaker who gave us space to look and consider the products without forcing a sale. I already know a bit about aromatherapy, so I asked a lot of questions, and I felt confident in my purchase. If, or should I say when, we return to Marrakech, we will visit Achraf again to buy more oils from him. On our second evening Hatim invited us in with his “bem-vindas” (we are portuguese).
