After morning pickup from your hotel or accessible riad, travel in comfort in an air-conditioned minivan with your experienced English- and French-speaking driver-guide.Your adventure begins in the Ourika Valley, famous for its lush scenery and refreshing waterfalls. Enjoy a guided walk (about 1 Hour round trip) with a licensed local mountain guide to explore the waterfalls, or simply relax with a drink beside the river. You’ll also have the chance if you like to visit a Berber women’s cooperative to see how traditional argan oil is made.Continue through the beautiful Oukaimeden Valley, and travel along mountain roads reaching 1,800 meters to the Sidi Fares Valley. Here, you’ll pass through authentic Berber villages made of stone and adobe and discover local life and traditions. Enjoy a home-cooked Berber lunch (salad or soup, tagine or couscous, dessert, and drinks) served in a traditional family house.After lunch, continue to Asni Valley, known for its fruit trees and breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. End your journey through the Tahnaout Valley, admiring its panoramic landscapes before returning to Marrakech around 5 30 PM.Note for guests booking the Cooking Class option For guests who select the Cooking Class option, the itinerary will operate in reverse order. We will first drive through the Tahnaout Valley and arrive at a traditional Berber house around 10 00 AM. After a welcome tea, you will join a hands-on cooking class with a local Berber woman and learn how to prepare a traditional tagine and bake Moroccan bread.Following the class, enjoy a 45-minute walk through the village before returning to the house for lunch. After lunch, continue the journey through the Oukaïmeden Valley and the Ourika Valley before returning to Marrakech.This special option offers an authentic cultural experience and the opportunity to learn traditional Moroccan cooking techniques from local villagers.
