Day 1 Kampala/Entebbe to Lake Mburo National ParkStart your journey early as you set off from Kampala or Entebbe. Your professional guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in a 4×4 safari vehicle, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey.The drive to Lake Mburo National Park takes around 3-4 hours, with a picturesque route filled with rolling hills, lush green landscapes, and traditional homesteads. En route, stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe. Here, you can witness the iconic “Equator Line” and take memorable photos standing in both hemispheres at once.Learn about the Coriolis effect, shop for handmade souvenirs, and grab a cup of Ugandan coffee before resuming your journey. Upon arrival, complete park entry formalities, and check in at your chosen lodge, such as Mihingo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock, or Eagle’s Nest Lodge, each offering beautiful views of the park.After lunch and some relaxation, embark on your first game drive within Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the park’s savannah landscapes, acacia woodlands, and scenic lakes. Return to your lodge for breakfast, take some time to relax, and check out.If you’re looking for an added thrill, take a horseback safari offered by Mihingo Lodge (subject to booking).
