We toured it on our own, without a guide, so factoring that in. There are a lot of rooms to explore, but without signs or museum-style writeups we couldn’t glean much about them (picture small bare rooms, with a fireplace and ornate ceiling, but nothing else on the walls or nearby to describe how they were used/who used them). Maybe having a tour guide is the solve for this? Also very crowded at 10:30am – suggest going at opening or late afternoon.
