Not just home to the ‘Big 5’ but to so many other really incredible animals, birds and plants!Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is the oldest park in Africa and boasts a rich and diverse cultural and natural history. Once the royal hunting grounds of Zulu King Shaka, it is also the park credited with saving the white rhino from certain extinction through ‘Operation Rhino’ which started in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park remains the epicentre of rhino conservation in the world.
