Day 01 Arrival and Addis Ababa City TourUpon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Begin your sightseeing with a drive to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of Addis Ababa. Visit the National Museum to see Lucy, one of the oldest hominids, then explore the Holy Trinity Cathedral, built during WWII. Next, visit the Ethnographic Museum, formerly Emperor Haile Selassie’s palace, and conclude your day at Merkato, East Africa’s largest market. Overnight at Grand Palace Hotel or a similar accommodation.Day 02 Drive from Addis Ababa to HawassaAfter breakfast, drive to Hawassa. En route, visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park, home to Grant’s gazelles, common warthogs, and over 300 bird species. Overnight at Hawassa Haile Resort or a similar accommodation.Day 03 Drive from Hawassa to Arba MinchVisit the local fish market and bird watch at Amora Gedele. After lunch, head to Dorze Village, known for its unique huts resembling elephants and traditional weaving. The Dorze people cultivate Enset, their staple food. Overnight at Haile Resort Arba Minch or a similar accommodation.Day 04 Drive from Arba Minch to Konso and TurmiEnjoy a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, where you may spot Nile crocodiles and hippos. Continue to Konso Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for terraced agriculture and coffee production. Later, drive to Turmi, home to the Hamer people. Overnight at Paradise Lodge in Turmi or a similar accommodation.Day 05 Drive from Turmi to Karo and back to TurmiTravel to Murulle to meet the Karo people, known for their body decorations. Afterward, return to Jinka airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
