Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your centrally located Nairobi hotel. Depart on a scenic 3-hour drive through Maasai country en route to Amboseli National Park. On the way, enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, visible from within the park.Be welcomed by local Maasai children along the roadside as you approach their homeland. Then, embark on a game drive through Amboseli, known for its excellent wildlife sightings due to sparse vegetation. Spot a variety of wildlife including African elephants (Amboseli’s icons), Cape buffalo, impala, zebras, and wildebeest, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes. Keep an eye out for numerous bird species, both big and small.Enjoy a hot lunch at Kibo Safari Camp, a scenic lodge with optional access to a swimming pool. Take a dip in the pool to relax and cool off before the return journey. Finally, drive back to Nairobi after lunch and be dropped off at your hotel or the international airport by late afternoon.
