Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara National ReserveBegin your safari with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the escarpment viewpoint for photos and stretching.Continue through Narok town and arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch at your camp. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive from around 4 00 PM until sunset. This is an excellent time to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other plains game as they become active in the cooler hours.Return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.Day 2 Maasai Mara – NairobiWake up early for breakfast and depart for a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators such as lions and cheetahs during their morning activity. Your guide will help track wildlife and position the vehicle for excellent photo opportunities.After the game drive, exit the reserve and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch en route and arrive in the city in the late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or airport.
