Enjoy a simple local breakfast, arrange permits, and meet your mandatory local Afar guide.09 00 AM – Drive to Dallol AreaContinue through vast salt flats and traditional Afar salt-mining zones.10 30 AM – Explore Dallol Geothermal Area and Danakil DepressionGuided walking tour of the surreal landscape Vibrant sulphur lakes and colorful mineral formations (yellow, green, orange, red)Acidic hot springs, bubbling pools, and salt pillarsPotash fields shaped by volcanic and hydrothermal activityAltitude –125 meters below sea level — one of the lowest and hottest points on Earth.01 30 PM – Lunch BreakPicnic lunch near the salt flats or a designated resting area (weather permitting).02 30 PM – Return Drive to Berhale and MekelleDrive back across the salt desert with short photo stops.
