Day 1 Antananarivo → AntsirabeBegin your adventure with a visit to Lemur’s Park, located 22 km southwest of Antananarivo. See nine species of lemurs in a lush botanical garden. Take a guided walk to observe lemurs, chameleons, and endemic plants (no touching or feeding).Next, depart for Antsirabe, a 3–4 hour drive. Stop at Ambatolampy, known for traditional aluminum pot making. Watch artisans craft pots using age-old techniques. In the evening, explore Antsirabe’s colonial architecture, markets, and thermal springs. Spend the night in Antsirabe.Day 2 Antsirabe → MorondavaDepart early for Morondava, an 8–10 hour drive. Take a scenic route through the highlands, dry western plains, rivers, and villages. Some sections may be rough, but the changing landscapes—from green highlands to baobab-studded plains—are stunning. Arrive in Morondava, a coastal town on Madagascar’s west coast, and spend the night there.Day 3 Morondava → Baobab AvenueVisit Morondava Local Market, a vibrant, colorful place full of Malagasy life. Stroll along Morondava Beach, admire turquoise waters and fishing boats. In the afternoon, depart for Baobab Avenue, a 45-minute drive. Walk among majestic baobabs, some over 800 years old. Capture the unforgettable sunset over Baobab Avenue.Day 4 Morondava → AntsirabeBegin your return journey to Antsirabe. Stop at Betafo hot springs to relax before arrival. Spend the night in Antsirabe.Day 5 Antsirabe → Antananarivo → Nosy BeDepart early for Antananarivo to catch a domestic flight to Nosy Be. Arrive in the late afternoon and relax on a quiet beach.Day 6 Nosy Be Cultural and Nature ExplorationVisit the Sacred Tree of Mahatsinjo, a 200-year-old banyan tree, a sacred site for local rituals. Learn about local beliefs. Experience the island’s daily life at Hell-Ville Local Market. Browse spices (vanilla, pepper), fresh produce, and local handicrafts.Visit a small, forest-hidden waterfall used for rituals. Swimming in the natural pool is allowed. Head to Mont Passot, the highest point on Nosy Be (329 m) with 360° panoramic views of the island, surrounding islets, and crater lakes. Watch a spectacular sunset.Day 7 Nosy Iranja – The Strip Sand IslandTake a boat trip to Nosy Iranja, a 1–1.5 hour journey each way. Relax on one of the world’s top beaches, interact with locals, and shop for optional souvenirs. Enjoy an included lunch. In the evening, enjoy optional nightlife in Ambatoloaka (safe and lively).Day 8 Nosy Be – Nosy Sakatia Turtle IslandVisit Nosy Sakatia for snorkeling among colorful marine life. Expect to see tropical fish, coral reefs, and possibly sea turtles. Spend the afternoon enjoying optional activities beach relaxation, shopping, or exploring.Day 9 Nosy Be → AntananarivoFly back to Antananarivo for onward connections.
