Enjoy a brief city tour of Kampala before heading on a scenic 4-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The journey offers stunning views of papyrus swamps, rainforests, and Ankole cattle farms.Stop for lunch in Mbarara town. Upon arrival at the park, check in at your hotel. After a brief relaxation, head out for your first game drive along the Kigambira loop trail. Watch for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes.Dinner and overnight stay at Rwakobo Rock (Mid-range).Day 2 Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise and Night Game DriveStart your day early with a game drive along the Kazuma track. Enjoy spectacular views of the park’s hills and lakes. Look out for zebras, waterbucks, bushbucks, and predators like hyenas and leopards.After the morning drive, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo is the only park offering horseback safaris, allowing you to get close to wildlife.Visit the salt lick area for a guided walk, where you can observe zebras and impalas. Alternatively, enjoy a quad bike, mountain bike, or horseback safari.For a cultural experience, take a village walk to Enyemembwa. Meet local Banyankore herdsmen and learn about their cattle-keeping traditions. You can even try milking cows or join them for grazing.After lunch, head back to Kampala or Entebbe.
