Discover Mafate on a guided 4×4 ride and hike with a professional mountain leader, and enjoy an active adventure complete with breathtaking views. Begin your tour with an exciting 30-minute ride in a 4×4 in the bed of the Rivière des Galets. Arrive at the trail and start your ascent to the Cayenne Islet. Cross a footbridge and marvel at the stunning panoramic view over a canyon.Stop for a refreshing break at the next basin below. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by a fantastic natural setting.The hike lasts for about 5-6 hours and is 7.5 miles long.In cyclone season, the 4WD track might be closed. In this event, we propose a full refund or the alternating hike at Le Maïdo, ‘Sur les remparts de Mafate’.This group tour is conducted only in French.
