We leave Cape Town and make our way around the Peninsula, following one of the most scenic coastal routes in the country. Along the way there’s plenty of time for photo stops, coffee breaks, and relaxed moments to actually enjoy the experience instead of rushing through it.We pass through Hout Bay, where you can choose to do the optional boat trip to Duiker Island to see the seals, or simply enjoy the harbour atmosphere. From there we continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive, which is always a highlight. The road hugs the cliffs above the ocean and the views speak for themselves.Further along the route we stop at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. If you’re keen, there’s also the option to hike up toward the lighthouse instead of taking the funicular.Later in the day we head toward Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach to see the African penguins in their natural environment. The day is relaxed, flexible, and focused on enjoying the coastline properly with a mix of scenery, wildlife, and local spots along the way.We make regular stops along the route for photos, coffee, snacks, and comfort breaks. If there’s somewhere specific you’d like to stop or spend more time at, just let the guide know during the day and we’ll try accommodate it where possible.
