Your cultural day begins in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the most fascinating historic centers in North Africa. Let yourself be transported through the centuries as you stroll through its narrow streets, lively souks, and perfectly preserved traditional architecture. Between historic mosques, carved doors, and old mansions, every turn tells a page of Tunis’s multicultural history. You will also have the opportunity to discover the craftsmanship of the artisans, explore traditional shops, or enjoy a mint tea in a typical café.Next, continue on to the Bardo National Museum, a true cultural gem housed in a former beylik palace. The museum houses one of the most important collections of Roman mosaics in the world, as well as precious archaeological pieces that trace the history of Tunisia, from Carthage in the Roman era to the medieval periods. Your live guide will accompany you to highlight the major works and the stories they tell. After this cultural immersion, you will travel to Carthage, the ancient Punic and later Roman capital, now a vast archaeological site overlooking the Mediterranean. You will discover its iconic ruins (Thermal Bath of Antonin, Tophet, Roman Theater, Punic harbors, etc.) that testify to the grandeur of this ancient city.Your day will then continue towards the iconic village of Sidi Bou Said, perched above the sea and famous for its blue and white streets, traditional coffee shops, and spectacular panoramas. Enjoy some free time to stroll around, take photos, or enjoy a coffee overlooking the Bay of Tunis.Lunch is included at a local restaurant (excluding drinks), so you can discover the authentic flavors of Tunisian cuisine.Admission fees to sites and monuments are the responsibility of the customer.A full day rich in history, culture, and discoveries, encountering the must-see treasures of the Tunis region.
