Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel, whether you’re staying along the north or south coast. Travel for approximately three hours toward Tsavo East National Park, enjoying the changing scenery along the way. Upon arrival at the park’s main entrance, your safari adventure begins immediately with an exciting game drive through its vast wilderness.As you journey through the park, enjoy an extensive game drive across its vast, open landscapes, famous for their red-dust terrain and dramatic scenery. Tsavo East is especially renowned for its large herds of “red elephants,” often seen dust-bathing in the park’s rich soil, as well as other wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species.During your visit, you’ll also encounter the impressive Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow, stretching across the horizon and offering a striking geological backdrop. The Galana River provides another highlight, where animals frequently gather to drink, giving you excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.Savor a freshly prepared hot lunch at Sentrim Tsavo East Lodge, set within the heart of the park. After your meal, continue with another game drive, giving you more chances to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, around 3 00 PM, begin your journey back, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Tsavo East safari experience.
