Dinner and overnight at Paradise Lodge.Day 2 Lake Chamo Boat Trip, Konso Village and Drive to TurmiAfter an early breakfast, head to Lake Chamo for a boat trip to the “crocodile market,” where you’ll spot huge crocodiles, hippos, and diverse birdlife. Continue to Konso for lunch and visit a UNESCO-listed village known for its stone terraces and generation poles raised every 18 years. After exploring the Konso culture, drive to Turmi on a scenic 4-hour journey. Dinner and overnight at Paradise Lodge in Turmi.Day 3 Visit Kara Village and Hamer Cultural Experience (700 characters)After breakfast, drive to Kara Village, home to about 3,000 people living along the Omo River. Discover their beautifully located villages and see the striking body and face paintings of the children. Return to Turmi for lunch. In the afternoon, you may witness the famous Hamer bull-jumping ceremony, a unique rite of passage, or visit a Hamer village if no ceremony occurs. Dinner and overnight at Paradise Lodge, Turmi.Day 4 Dassanech Tribe Visit and Drive to JinkaAfter breakfast, drive to Omorate and cross the Omo River to visit the Dassanech tribe. Please bring your passport, as Omorate is a border town requiring immigration checks. After the visit, return to Turmi, enjoy lunch, and continue to Jinka on a 2.5-hour drive. If time and energy allow, visit the Jinka Museum or an Ari village to learn more about local cultures. Overnight in Jinka.Day 5 Mursi Tribe Visit and Fly Back to Addis AbabaAfter breakfast, drive through Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, known for the women’s lip plates and the men’s traditional body painting. Explore their village, then return to Jinka for lunch, completing a 3-hour round trip. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your 14 05 flight to Addis Ababa, arriving at 15 25.
