Begin with a convenient hotel pickup in a comfortable private vehicle, followed by a short drive to the Copolia trailhead where you meet your guide and receive a brief introduction to the hike. A backpack and trekking stick are provided if you do not have your own equipment. The hike starts through shaded forest and gradually becomes steeper, with root covered paths and exposed granite sections as elevation is gained. The ascent and descent are sustained and can be physically demanding, especially near the summit where footing requires balance and care, particularly in humid or wet conditions.The hike is paced to suit your fitness level and interests, with regular stops to learn about Seychelles’ native flora, birdlife, granite formations, and the natural and cultural landscape surrounding Victoria. As the trail opens up, expansive views appear over Victoria, Eden Island, the east coast of Mahé, and surrounding mountain ridges.
