Early morning between 7am and 7 30 clients are picked and head to the Botswana border for about an hour. On half day trip there are two options whether to do game drive and lunch OR boat cruise and lunch. Upon reaching the border they do border formalities and get picked by the guide or captain who will take care of the rest of the trip. The guide will take them to chobe national park where they will have a life changing game viewing drive, that is, if they have chosen option one. If they choose cruise and lunch, they head straight to the chobe river for boat cruise. Generally, the game drive and lunch option is better in the morning. It gives a better chance to capture active animal moments. Cruise and lunch option can be done in the morning BUT it’s better in the afternoon when animals frequent the river to quench their thirsty and cool down, and also the temperatures will be warm enough to enjoy your time in water.Implying you have lunch around 12 then go for the cruise. The two options give good game viewing experience. The morning activity and lunch ends around 13 30 hours and then head straight to the border. The afternoon option ends around 16 30 hours. from there clients head to the border and are dropped at their hotels.
