Begin your tour with a drive from Addis to Ambo, passing through farmlands. Make a brief stop at the Ambo Agricultural Research Center for a crop research overview if open, focusing on Ethiopian plant protection.Next, visit Ambo town to taste mineral water and view resort areas amid farming landscapes. Then, drive to the Wonchi rim and arrive at a crater lake viewpoint in Wonchi-Dandi Eco-Tourism Village.Experience practical farming in a Wonchi village. Get hands-on with enset processing harvest pseudostems, scrape pulp, and ferment it into kocho. Observe barley fields and participate in kocho preparation, tasting it with local meals.Enjoy a lakeside picnic with kocho, gomen (greens), and fresh apples amid farms. Take a short farm walk or horse trek to see enset plantations and crater views. Finally, return to Addis.
