Day 1 Addis Ababa – JimmaLeave Addis and drive to Jimma, a 350 km journey. Stop for lunch along the way, perhaps in Welkite. Once in Jimma, visit the Coffee Statue.Day 2 Jimma – Limu Kossa – Jimma – Mizan Teferi – BebekaIn the morning, visit the Limu Kossa Coffee Plantation. Drive back to Jimma for lunch. If time permits, visit the Jimma Agricultural Research Center (Jarco). Continue to Mizan Teferi, passing by Bongo and Wush Wush Tea Estate. Spend the night in Bebeka or Mizan Teferi.Day 3 BebekaVisit the largest and oldest coffee estate in Ethiopia, in Bebeka, recently taken over by the Midroc Group.Day 4 Bebeka – Tepi – BebekaDrive to Tepi to visit the Coffee Plantation of Tepi. Have lunch in Tepi Guesthouse close to the Estate. Return to Bebeka or Mizan.Day 5 Bebeka/Mizan Teferi – SodoVisit the Karo people. Camp in Murulle.Day 6 Sodo-Yirga AlemTravel via Boditi, Shashemene, and Awasa to Yirga Alem, in the Sidama region. Stay in Aregash Lodge. Spend the rest of the day walking, enjoying a traditional coffee ceremony, or visiting the area to see coffee farmers.Day 7 Yirga AlemVisit the Sidamo coffee region, including the Cola washing station and the Efico Foundation project.Day 8 Yirga Alem – Yirga Chefe – Yirga AlemDrive further south to visit coffee plantations and coffee union projects in Yirga Cheffe. Visit the Manchiti Rock Engravings on the way close to Dilla. Return to Yirga Alem in the evening.Day 9 Yirga Alem – AddisDrive back to Addis. Stop for Oromo graves and lunch in Zway, see waterbirds on Zway Lake, and visit Dry Mills Kuru.
