Day 1 Addis AbabaBe met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Refresh and begin your sightseeing of Addis with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of the city. Descend and drive to the National Museum to see the oldest hominids of the ‘Lucy’ fossil.Visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, built during WWII. Then, proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, once the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie. Wrap up your day with a visit to Merkato, the biggest market in East Africa. Spend the night in Addis.Day 2 Addis Ababa- JimmaAfter breakfast, drive to Jimma, passing through beautiful landscapes and the Gibe River Valley. Visit the Jimma Museum and King Abba Jiffar Palace. Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.Day 3 Jimma- BongaAfter breakfast, drive to Bonga, the birthplace of coffee. Visit a traditional Kaffa house and learn about the culture of the Kaffa people. After lunch, drive to Ellelo, Adiyo Falls, and the Dadiben and Gora Hot Springs. Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.Day 4 MakiraTrek to Mankira, the place where coffee Arabica was discovered. En route, visit the ancient Adaracha Medhane Alem Church and the Gurguto Natural Bridge. Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.Day 5 BebekaDrive to Bebeka and check into a hotel. After lunch, visit the largest coffee plantation in Ethiopia, covering 6,000 hectares. Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.Day 6 Bebeka Coffee PlantationExplore the coffee plantation from seedling to coffee bean. Taste Ethiopian Coffee Arabica at Bebeka. Spend the day in Bebeka and stay overnight at the guesthouse or camp.Day 7 Bebeka- JimmaDrive back to Jimma. Depending on arrival, continue visiting Jimma attractions. Visit the historical palace of Sultan Abba Jifar, known for its colorful architectural beauty. Continue to the Jimma Museum to see historical materials of King Abba Jifar and cultural objects of the local Oromo people and other ethnic groups around Kaffa. Spend the night in Jimma.Day 8 Jimma-Addis Ababa- DepartureDrive back to Addis Ababa, stopping for lunch at Woliso. Arrive in Addis Ababa in the late afternoon and shop for souvenirs. In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner, taste national dishes, and watch dances of various Ethiopian ethnic groups.
