Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the highlands of Aberdare National Park. Upon arrival, the hike starts across the beautiful Afro-alpine moorlands, surrounded by dramatic landscapes, unique high-altitude vegetation, and cool mountain air.The trail leads toward the striking Dragon’s Teeth, a series of jagged volcanic rock formations rising sharply from the plateau. This scenic section offers incredible views and great photo opportunities as you explore the unusual rock corridors.The hike continues to the summit of Mount Satima, the highest point in the Aberdare Range at about 4,001 meters. From the top, enjoy panoramic views across the Aberdare mountains and, on clear days, distant views of Mount Kenya before descending back across the moorlands.
