This 2-day adventure combines the thrill of Zambezi River rafting with unforgettable wildlife experiences in Zambia and Botswana. Perfect for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, from powerful rapids to peaceful wildlife moments.Day 1 Zambezi White-Water Rafting and Rhino Safari (Zambia)Start your morning with an adrenaline-fueled half-day white-water rafting experience on the mighty Zambezi River. After a hotel pickup in Livingstone, you’ll head to the top of the Batoka Gorge, where your expert guides will provide a full safety briefing and gear. Then descend into the gorge and paddle through a series of Grade 3 to Grade 5 rapids, including famous ones like ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and ‘Oblivion.’ This section of the river promises both excitement and stunning views. After rafting, return to your hotel for a short rest before the afternoon’s wildlife adventure. You’ll be picked up around 15 00 for a game drive through Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The highlight of the afternoon is a guided walking safari to track the endangered white rhinos on foot, a rare and humbling experience. With an armed wildlife ranger, you’ll observe these magnificent animals safely in their natural environment. The day ends with a scenic drive back to your lodge by sunset.Day 2 Full-Day Chobe National Park Safari (Botswana)Start early with a 06 30 AM pickup from your Livingstone lodge or hotel. After crossing the Zambezi River at the Kazungula border into Botswana, you’ll begin your Chobe adventure with a peaceful 3-hour boat cruise along the Chobe River. Spot elephants cooling off at the riverbanks, hippos bathing, crocodiles sunning on the shore, and a variety of birdlife that makes Chobe a top safari destination. After the cruise, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a riverside lodge. In the afternoon, switch to an open 4×4 safari vehicle for a game drive into Chobe National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, herds of buffalo, giraffes, and of course, Africa’s largest population of elephants. Around 16 30–17 00, you’ll return to the Kazungula border and transfer back to Livingstone, ending your unforgettable 2-day journey.
