2025 Feb - Fuelgiz proudly celebrates Dr. Kerinde Lagippe, a distinguished Nigerian geologist and geoscientist, on receiving the esteemed Aret Adams Award from the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).


2024-Nov - Leading indigenous oil and gas exploration company, Fuelgize Energy Nigeria Limited were among the dignitaries who gathered at a private dinner in Lagos on Sunday, to celebrate the Country Director of Schlumberger (SLB), Dr Nosa Omorodion, on his recent receipt of the prestigious “Aret Adams Award”.
The Aret Adams Award, named after the late Chief Aretanekhai (Aret) Godwin Adams and his commitment to excellence, is the highest honour of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).

It is awarded to deserving earth scientists of any nationality for distinguished and outstanding contributions to, or achievements in, the sciences and practice of petroleum exploration and exploitation in Nigeria for 15 years or more.

Omorodion is the latest award winner. His friends, associates, and other well-wishers were treated to an exclusive dinner event hosted and organised by Lekoil at Civic Towers, located in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Speaking on the award, a visibly elated Omorodion said, “If somebody had told me a few years ago that I’ll be here discussing this award as a recipient, I would have thought that the person didn’t know what he was talking about.

Environmental regulations: Nigeria’s Environmental Impact Assessment Act (“EIAA”) requires every company whose activity or project is likely to have a significant effect on the environment to carry out an impact assessment programme before the commencement of the project. The assessment is to be referred to the Federal Ministry of Environment, the regulatory body charged with the responsibility of administering the EIAA, for approval. In addition, the EIAA classifies oil and gas development and construction of off-shore pipelines over 50 km in length among projects that will require environmental impact assessment to be conducted.

2024-Sep Green Energy International Limited (GEIL) and Fuelgize Energy Limited have flagged off several projects across 4 communities in the Adoni Local Government area of Rivers State, following the inauguration of the Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) early last year.
