Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe. Head to Jinja, stopping first at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine Namugongo for a photo stop and an explanation about the martyrs that were killed from this spot.Next, stop at the Ssezibwa Waterfalls for a brief hike to the top of the falls. Spend some time in the natural environment, appreciating the beauty of the area, walking through the bamboo forest , and listening to the birds whispers.Visit the African traditional shrines to witness how the African religion is practiced and how traditional healers offer medication to the patients. Then, stop at a tea and sugarcane plantation, the main cash crop in the region. Walk out of the car and take some pictures of the landscape and plantations.Drive through Mabira Rainforest, Uganda’s largest rainforest, before arriving in Jinja. Walk on the new Nile Bridge, then head down to the shores of Lake Victoria. Take a 1-hour boat ride on Lake Victoria, connecting to the source of the Nile and also riding on the Nile River.Receive a certificate of authenticity for stepping at the source of the Nile. Then, go ziplining on the river Nile, offering an opportunity to fly over the Nile. Enjoy a buffet-style lunch before driving through Jinja city markets to explore more of the city’s historical buildings and attractions. Finally, return to Kampala.
