The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is the most well-known elephant orphanage, rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants and rhinos for release back into the wild. The nursery is located within Nairobi National ParkWe arrive at David Sheldrick Park at 10 45 AM for a one-hour introductory presentation. Ask questions and get up close and personal with the beautiful, friendly elephants under the supervision of trained professionals.As one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organization, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife.
